Definition Poem

Poetry Description:

A Definition poem consists of a list of definitions or elements that help define the subject. 
The first line tells the subject. 
The ending wraps it all up.

Applications for History Class:

A Definition poem is a good way to teach vocabulary or concepts. It can be used with artwork or presented dramatically or through dance.

Directions:

The first line of the poem should name the term in some way. Next there is a list of definitions or elements that help to define the term. The last line wraps up the entire poem. 
This poem may or may not rhyme.
